Hennecy, 38, announced his retirement after nearly 20 years of career. He made 109 appearances for the Wales national team, setting a Welsh goalkeeper's appearance record. He is also a member of the 2016 European Cup semi-finals. Hennecy's career began in 2006 when he made his debut with the Wolves. He was subsequently loaned to clubs such as Bristol City, Port Stock and Yoville, and then permanently transferred to Crystal Palace, Burnley and his last stop Nottingham Forest.
