Chelsea legend John Terry recently accepted an interview with the media, saying that modern football is boring.

Last November, Terry announced his role as the head coach of the 26ers in the Baller League, the emerging six-a-side football league. This event aimed at promoting fast-paced offensive football and attracting young audiences has given this former back defense gate a hope to fight the chronic disease of modern football.

Terry told talkSPORT: "I can't feel the fun watching the game now. The founder of Baller League Felix and his international investment team are fed up with those tactical calculations. Just like some teams posed an 11-man iron barrel formation when facing Manchester City, Manchester City mechanically tried to break the defense. The whole process was extremely dull, and you can never see the bloody performances of Hazard or Joe Cole."

Terry further explained that this disappointment is spreading around the world: "The Baller League has set innovative rules, such as banning return passes after halftime. The younger generation is crazy about this, and the ratings continue to grow, which shows that people are really tired of the existing football model."

According to reports, the British version of the Baller League is chaired by internet celebrity boxer KSI, and the game is held every Monday night. Football celebrities such as Leinker, Alan Shearer and Figo led the team to participate, paying players £400 per game. The lineup includes retired professional players such as Deani, indoor football players, free agents, and potential new stars who have just left the youth training system. Special invited stars such as Lescott will also be introduced in specific rounds.
