How to get the dog to "come"?

"Come here" training can also be called "summoning" training. We hope that through this training, the dog can return to the owner as soon as possible from a distance. If you often take your dog out for fun, you must master this training. Otherwise, if you go out for a trip in the future, the dog becomes a "sending off" and cannot be called back at all, you will be very anxious.

1. Send a "come" signal first. After the command to "come" is issued, the gesture should be like greeting a child, extending your right hand straight forward, palm down, and palms move up and down. If the dog does not hear clearly or does not notice it, continue to repeat the "come" command and cooperate with the gesture.

2. If the dog has no movement or reaction, you can gently pull the pull chain with your left hand, and the trainer will retreat and let the dog come over; when the dog completes the coming movement, it should be encouraged.

3. When the dog understands the password of "come", the dog owner can keep a certain distance from the dog, not pull the dog's leash, issue the order and make gestures to let the dog complete the movement. Once the dog learns it, you can use gestures and command the dog to complete the movements by simply commanding it.

Basic requirements:

1. Determine the password first. In the early stages of training, the dog must first remember the password clearly. It is usually "come" or "come back". Dog owners cannot replace them at will during training. This way the dog will not remember it.

2. You can bring a telescopic leash to the dog during training. If the dog does not obey the order quickly, you can tighten the leash and gradually drag the dog toward you while repeating the "come" password and gesture to the dog.

3. During training, if the dog cannot come, he can consider using food for attraction. When the dog comes to you, please give you a verbal reward.
