Nottingham Forest officially announced the signing of Norwich goalkeeper Angus Gunn, and the two sides signed a contract for one year.
The Scottish goalkeeper started his career with Norwich and signed his first professional contract with Manchester City at the age of 17 in 2013. After transferring to Southampton in 2018, he returned to his hometown team Norwich in 2021. He has rich experience in Premier League competition when joining Nottingham Forest.
During his recent Canary period, Gunn played 35 league games in the 2024-25 season, and made a total of 172 appearances during the two sessions. At the national team level, he has made 16 appearances for Scotland and participated in all European Cup 2024. All members of Nottingham Forest warmly welcome Gunn to the Forest Family.
Gunn said at the signing meeting: "We are very happy to be here. This is a long-standing club on an exciting journey. I look forward to being one of them and working. I will join the excellent goalkeeper team and believe that my experience can contribute to the team. I can't wait to start working."
Director of Football Operations Ross Wilson added: "We are very happy to welcome Angus to join today. He has joined a strong goalkeeper team to inject experience points into the team. I know that Sels enjoys the cooperation with Rui Barbosa and believes that Angus will receive the same quality coaching guidance and support after integrating into the club."
