TA reported that Textor, the former owner of Crystal Palace, sent a total offer of US$550 million to Fosun Group, hoping to acquire the Premier League Wolves.

Text's offer to Fosun Group includes US$200 million in cash and US$350 million in shares in the restarted version of "Eagle Football Group" (EFG). He likes Wolves' Portuguese player policy, which helps him bring in South American players from Botafogo, Brazil. However, insider sources claim that Fosun Group is not interested in Textor's EFG shares and only wants to sell a minority stake, so the offer is "unlikely to be accepted."

The article revealed that the background of Textor’s move was that he was caught in multiple legal and financial crises. First, its main lender is chasing most of the $425 million loan it provided to acquire Lyon in 2022, and the two sides are discussing whether to end the relationship.

What’s more serious is that Texter has a major dispute with another shareholder, Iconi. Iconic claimed to hold an "insurance policy" requiring Textor to buy back its $75 million investment after EFG's listing plan failed, but Textor failed to comply within 12 months.
