According to a new study published in Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, health scientists at the University of Bath and Birmingham found that changing the time of eating and exercising can effectively control blood sugar.
During the study period, 30 obese or overweight men were divided into three groups, namely, they ate breakfast before exercise, breakfast after exercise, and control group (not changing lifestyle). It was found that the amount of fat burned for groups on an empty stomach was twice that of breakfast before exercise.
Researchers have found that people who exercise on an empty stomach will decrease in intraocular energy, which means that fat burning can be increased. In other words, fasting exercise will quickly consume the carbohydrate in the body, and then use the body tissues and fat as fuel to start burning fat. In order to verify the principles, the research was limited to men. I hope that future research can include women in the test.
Although everyone has not lost weight during these 6 weeks, it has had some impact on their health, such as good blood sugar control and may reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease.
